Yen Ling is a practicing clinical psychologist trained in psychological assessments and interventions. She primarily focuses on working with adult clients dealing with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and challenges in regulating their emotions.

Alongside providing psychotherapy services, Yen Ling started working with chronic pain patients since she was a trainee in Selayang Hospital. Upon completing her practicum, Yen Ling continued to work in Selayang hospital’s chronic pain clinic as she feels committed towards working with chronic pain patients. She also works in HKL’s pain clinic as a sessional psychologist. Apart from that, she is a teaching associate in Monash University, whereby she tutors psychology students. Yen Ling also works as a clinical psychologist for a digital health technology company based in China. Her clinical practice and tutoring role that focuses on research-based interventions have contributed substantially to her personal and professional development as a clinical psychologist.

While she has experience working with individuals of various age groups, her training primarily revolves around working with adults. Her area of interest revolves around chronic pain and grief, whereby she has a heartfelt commitment to working with suicide loss survivors in particular through her practice and focus on research-based interventions.

Her therapeutic style is characterized by a blend of evidence-based interventions, tailored to meet the unique needs and circumstances of each individual she works with. Yen Ling strives to empower her clients by providing them with a safe space through evidence-based practices and to facilitate their journey in life and work towards a life that is meaningful and truly worth living.
