Martin is a practicing Clinical Psychologist, with a special interest in depression and anxiety related to self-esteem issues, relationship and family distress, and interpersonal difficulties. Martin believes in the importance of therapeutic relationship and works collaboratively with his clients in assisting them to explore adaptive coping strategies for their life’s difficulties and achieving personal growth and changes.

Martin is passionate about promoting mental health among members of the queer community, especially those who struggle with relationship distress and social exclusion, due to the stigma and pressures of being in a conservative heteronormative culture.

Martin completed his Master’s in Clinical Psychology from UCSI University, Malaysia and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (Hons) from HELP University, Malaysia. Martin’s professional affiliations are with the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology, Malaysian Association for the Study of Pain, and Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council.
